Il Center for Advanced Studies in Symbolic Interactionism and Grounded Theory si propone di promuovere lo sviluppo teorico e metodologico della prospettiva dell’Interazionismo Simbolico, nonché la discussione attorno all’utilizzo e la diffusione dei Qualitative Methods e della Grounded Theory Costruzionista, anche di raccordo con la EUSSSI (Society for the Study of Symbolic Interaction). A tal fine, il Centro agisce dal 2010 attraverso la divulgazione di iniziative di carattere scientifico (convegni, simposi, pubblicazioni), e l’organizzazione di momenti educativi, tra cui si ricordano le varie edizioni dell’International Summer School on GT and Qualitative Methods e i corsi di alta formazione, che hanno attratto numerosi partecipanti provenienti da tutto il mondo e i più rinomati studiosi della disciplina.
The Center for Advanced Studies in Symbolic Interactionism and Grounded Theory aims to promote the theoretical and methodological development of the Symbolic Interactionism perspective, as well as the discussion about the use of Qualitative Methods and Constructivist Grounded Theory. For this purpose, the Center has been acting since 2010 through the dissemination of scientific initiatives (conferences, symposia, publications), and the organization of educational moments, including the various editions of the International Summer School on GT and Qualitative Methods, and the advanced training courses: they have attracted many participants coming from all over the world, and the most renowned scholars in the discipline.
The Center collaborates with the EUSSSI (Society for the Study of Symbolic Interaction).
